Algebra I is a beginning Algebra course that dives into the basics needed to understand Math. Students taking this course will gain the skills needed to simplify mathematical expressions and rational expressions, solve and graph linear equations, create equations and mathematical statements form word problems to help solve those problems, as well as solve and simplifying polynomials. They will also learn about the different types of function and the process of graphing them. They will study lines and how to find the intercepts and important information in order to graph and interpret those lines as well as solve systems of equations and inequalities.
